Pre-Order The Skapones 4th album now!
North East Englands finest Ska exports, The Skapones have announced the pre-order for their forthcoming album ‘Ascension’.
The album, the fourth from the prolific group, also features Tim Smart of The Specials on Trombone and will be available in just about every format available, including cassette!
The album is certainly a collaborative effort from the band, with tracks written by various members and promises to be a cracking listen.
If you follow them, you will have heard a few teasers on their social media and they’ve recently been playing the tracks live, to a great reception all round. Unfortunately I’ve missed them locally for the last couple of gigs due to other things going on, but will definitely catch up soon!
Bands rely heavily on merchandise and record sales to help them survive. Of course, the release will be available on streaming sites but if you can stretch to a physical copy, you should definitely do so, because streaming sites are a bunch of robbing bastards!
