The curtain goes down on The Specials with tribute release

Working under the banner of ‘The Specials Family’ and featuring Specials members and the musicians that played with the band for a number of years on the ‘Encore’ and ‘Protest Songs’ albums, the group are releasing a tribute to the late greats, Terry Hall and John Bradbury.

Entitled ‘When a Light Goes Out’, and featuring Lynval Goldings final performance on guitar, the track will be played to the world this coming Tuesday 19th March, which of course, would also have been Terrry’s 65th birthday.

The track will be aired on Trish Adudu’s show on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire from 2pm where it will also feature an interview with Lynval himself.
