JB Day 9 – 16th February
JB day is upon us tomorrow, a day that has become somewhat of tradition in Ska circles as the day we remember The Specials drummer John Bradbury on what would have been his birthday. He would have been 71 tomorrow but sadly passed away on 28th December 2015.
A time to flood social media with images, videos and memories of the self proclaimed ‘attack drummer’, no doubt he would be hugely embarrassed by the flood of attention he will receive tomorrow.
Born in Coventry, the UK’s home of Two-Tone on 16th February 1953, he joined The Specials after their original Silverton Hutchinson, left and was an integral part of the reformed band up until his untimely death.
So get involved and update your socials with JB images tomorrow! #jbday9
