Buster Shuffle – Hold Back The Rebels
Take a pinch of Chas n Dave, add a sprinkle of Madness and then serve it up with some sweet ivories and what do you get? The latest single release from Buster Shuffle.
Hailing from London, they are just about to head off to Europe for a 16-day tour, ending in Camden on 16th March but before leaving they’ve dropped their latest offering ‘Hold Back the Rebels’.
A piano-driven bouncing delight, it comes with a swanky video, and is also available as a limited edition orange vinyl!
A great track that makes you want to get up and skank, it’s apparently a true story of one of the band moving to a new house to find a noisy turkey living int he garden next door! Do we believe it? Does it matter?
The single’s ‘B-side’ is ‘Then Like Thunder’, an equally danceable ska tune and seems to continue the story of said turkey. It clearly left scars (or Ska’s)!
You’d think with two tracks on the same subject, we’d have got to know the most important question…Did the turkey make it through Christmas?
