The Rough Kutz story now on YouTube
Skaville via Chell Heath, the story of The Rough Kutz has been released on YouTube by the band.
Charting the story of the band right from conception around 1992 to the present day, it goes through their experiences of rehearsing in a kids playgroup building, their first ever gig at Chell Heath British Legion in 1994, the involvement of Roddy ‘Radiation’ Byers with the band and much more.
I first saw the band at The Hallamshire Hotel in Sheffield around 1996 and it was great to see some footage from that gig.
This isn’t a highly polished, super-produced film, and nor should it be. As you’ll see when you watch, that’s not how the band roll!
It’s a perfect illustration of a band on the road from start to finish and the highlight of the entire thing is when my own ugly mug appears after an hour and twenty two minutes! Wasn’t expecting that!
