Speculation builds around ‘This Town’ release date

Despite the fact we’re still awaiting a firm release date, excitement and speculation is building around the release date for the upcoming BBC drama ‘This Town’.

Written by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, SAS Rogue Heroes) the upcoming six-part drama is billed as the story of “an extended family and four young people who are drawn into the world of ska and two-tone music” and it is increasingly looking like we are only a matter of weeks away from the release date.

With press interest building, an article this Sunday in ‘The Sunday Mirror’ newspaper, plus a preview screening at BFI South Bank on 26th February, followed by a Q&A with creator Steven Knight, cast members Michelle Dockery, Jordan Bolger, Ben Rose and Levi Brown, director Paul Whittington and executive producer Karen Wilson, it is clearly won’t be too long before a release date is announced.

It seems the smart money is on a spring release…Keep your eyes peeled!
