The Calamatix – Book of Love
I love it when I hear a new band is on the scene! The Calamatix are such a band. In fact, they’re so new on the scene, there’s not a lot of information out there on them so I can’t really expand too much! 😄
What I can say is they have been working with Tim Armstrong (Rancid) and this single is released on his ‘Hellcat Records’ label, so they’re in good company with the likes of Rancid, The Slackers & The Interrupters!
This is their first single, and what a cracker it is! Pure old school skanking reggae beats backup some awesome vocals…man those sweet vocals! Beautiful!
Really, there’s not much more I can say about this release, it’s perfection! I’m really looking forward to hearing from The Calamatix in 2024. Go and listen to the single NOW! It’s on the usual streaming sites!
