Norways Skanimals release latest single

Norway’s Skanimals brand of Ska Punk is like a wild storm testing the boundaries of what can be called Ska with their latest release.

“Alpha,” their third release this year, opens with a brilliant burst of brass, before launching into a punk guitar hurricane that is sure to make your ears bleed!

Peppered with brief ska riffs, this is definitely not for the ska music purists, but that seems to be the band’s intention, so they likely won’t mind me saying so.

Nevertheless, it’s a powerhouse of a tune and is sure to get you moving!

This is their third release of the year, with “B.O.T.” released in February, a lightning bolt of a ska-punk tune, and “One of Those Days” in April, another great track that’s just as infectious.

I’ll certainly be looking out for more releases from these Scandinavian skanksters!
