Proper Ska Records to release debut Riff Raff album!

Proper Ska Records announced this week that they are poised to release their first album by a single band.

Releasing a statement in their Facebook Group, Proper Ska Records said:

“Proper Ska Records are incredibly proud to announce that the first band releasing an album on our record label will be Riff Raff.

Fronted by former Riffs and Feckin Ejits singer and songwriter Aidan Sterling, Riff Raff are superb musicians and are definitely one of the leading lights on the UK ska scene right now. Their catchy and bouncy original tracks, with working class lad about town style lyrics, always go down a storm whenever and wherever they’re played.

As usual, Proper Ska Records will keep you all informed every step of the way. We are realistically looking at some point time this summer for the album to be released.”

The new ska based label released their first compilation ‘Proper Ska Volume 1’ last September, a limited edition triple charity CD of 63 tracks by 58 different artists/bands from 11 different countries.

They are following this up with a second volume coming soon and are moving into band releases with the first release of Aiden Sterling’s latest project, Riff Raff.
