From the Caribbean to Coventry – 2-Tone Exhibition at Barbican Theatre, London.
A new exhibition examining the hugely positive influence that Caribbean immigration brought to the UK and particularly its effect on youth culture is coming to the Barbican Theatre, London.

‘From the Caribbean to Coventry – Plotting the Rise of Two Tone’ is a free entry exhibition which opens its doors on Friday 12th January and runs until Saturday 25th May and will feature band memorabilia, items of clothing, literature, art, photographs, and contributions from fans.
Citing Rhoda Dakar as one of the consultants, it’s sure to be an interesting visit for anyone interested in Two-Tone, and let’s face it, if you’re reading this, its almost certain you are!
You can check out the web site for the exhibition now at:

I’ve just got to try and figure out the best time to get down there from here in the North-East, ideally when there is a gig or two going on. I wonder if there’s a web site out there that has a decent gig listing calendar? ๐
