Soulful Ska grooves from The Phensic
Hailing from the East Coast New York/New Jersey area of the U.S., The Phensic are made up of members of various other bands including Bigger Thomas, Hub City Stompers and Rude Boy George.
January saw their first single of 2025 being released, and it goes by the name of ‘Do It Scared!’, a narrative about confronting your anxieties and persevering, even in moments of uncertainty.
An upbeat message, an equally upbeat ska rhythm, paired with soulful overtones and sweetly smooth vocals make this one hell of a strong release that will appeal to everyone!
What’s more, the band are about to release their next single very soon and have their second album in the pipeline which is expected later this year – definitely one to look out for!
Their first studio album released in 2023 entitled ‘Don’t Test Me’ is also phenomenal by the way and well worth a listen!
