Single Release Roundup
New Orleans Ska-Punk outfit Bad Operation have released their latest single ‘I Don’t Wanna Know’.
Guitar Ska at it’s best, it mixes punk riffs and ska beats with some great horns to produce a very danceable track, which is paired with a slick video (check it out below)!
Orange County’s Half Past Two & Philadelphia’s Catbite have merged their individual ska prowess to release ‘Wrong For You’, a generous portion of super catchy Ska-pop-punk goodness!
With the vocal fusion of Half Past Two’s Tara and Catbite’s Brittany, you can’t really go wrong and it’s another track matched to a well produced video!
Next up is the latest single from ‘Mike Ska’. Michael “Svegis” Svegbrant (The Skalatones) is behind this solo instrumental project and ‘Get Up’ is the new single from him.
A gently skanking offering featuring a winding ska backbeat will have you up on your feet in no time!
‘What We Gonna Do Now’/’Pick & Choose’ is the latest offering from New York’s prolific and long running ‘The Slackers’.
The former is a sleek ska number, in the traditional style and is just perfect with great brass and vocals. You’ll be up & dancing to this!
The second track brings a slower reggae sound to the fore but is no less catchy – two awesome tracks that are also available as a 12″ Vinyl sing release as well as the usual streaming sites!

Russia’s Lollypop Lorry have dropped another single from their forthcoming album.
‘Summer Days’ is yet another awesome track that pairs lead singer Svetlana’s beautiful vocals with a really strong ska rhythm.
Summer vibes are abound in this one and help to blow away the winter blues as our days get shorter and nights get earlier. Excellent stuff again!
